A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER

Dear friends,
Ten years ago, I founded Suits for Sons with a simple belief: talent and potential are everywhere, but access to the people, experiences, and knowledge that help turn potential into opportunity is not.
My career in human resources taught me that education and technical expertise are essential, but they are only part of the equation. How you communicate, build relationships, navigate unfamiliar environments, advocate for yourself, and develop a network of people willing to invest in your success can have an equally profound impact on where your journey takes you.
I know this because others did it for me.
Throughout my career, I was fortunate to have mentors and advisors who shared their experiences, opened doors, challenged my thinking, and taught me lessons I could never have learned from a textbook. Their investment in me complemented my education and helped shape the professional and leader I became.
Suits for Sons was created to pay that investment forward.
For the past decade, accomplished professionals, mentors, volunteers, and community partners have come together to give young men access to the guidance, relationships, experiences, and practical skills that many of us spent years acquiring on our own. We shorten the learning curve, broaden their exposure, build their confidence, and help prepare them to walk into rooms of opportunity knowing they belong there.
We have always believed that it takes a village to develop great leaders. These young men are our sons—not because we seek to replace their families, fathers, teachers, coaches, or other role models, but because we share a responsibility for the communities and generations that come after us.
Ten years later, that belief is stronger than ever.
As we celebrate a decade of Suits for Sons, I am incredibly proud of the young men who have come through our program, the professionals who have poured into them, and the village that continues to show up year after year.
But this anniversary is about more than looking back. It is also about what comes next.
There are more young men to reach, more doors to open, and more leaders to develop. I hope you will join us as we begin our next decade of turning potential into possibility.
Thank you for believing in our scholars, supporting our mission, and being part of our village.
